One of the brightest signs of the economic recovery in Las Vegas is the sight of new master-planned communities springing up. Development of large master plans virtually ground to a halt during the downturn.

But now work has begun on two of the largest master-planned communities in the Las Vegas area in more than a decade and Hirschi Masonry is on the job.

Last year, Hirschi completed the installation of structural walls and stone veneer on the Cadence Home Finding Center. This new master-planned community off of Lake Mead Drive in Henderson consists of 2,200 acres and “would have up to 13,250 homes, 1.1 million square feet of retail and a 1,500-room resort,” according to VegasInc.

After the Home Finding Center was complete the Hirschi Masonry team began installing the site walls on several communities within Cadence. This work includes building some of the most prominent and visible walls in the master plan.

Now, site work has begun on the new Skye Canyon master plan in northwest Las Vegas. At 1,700 acres, Skye Canyon will contain 9,000 homes as well as many other amenities. The master plan covers both sides of US-95 and, in some areas, extends beyond Kyle Canyon Road, the road leading to Mt. Charleston.

Even as the earthmoving equipment is still carving out roads and preparing drainage systems, the Hirschi Masonry team is busy building site walls on several of the new communities. Our team is always prepared to get out in front.

The most important projects in the Las Vegas area choose to Expect More with the premier masonry contractor in the Las Vegas – Hirschi Masonry.
