Another high-profile project in the Las Vegas area that chooses to Expect More.
Drivers on US-95 in Northwest Las Vegas may have been noticing a new building cropping up. Hirschi Masonry installed the stone veneer on the recently-completed Advanced Health Care of Summerlin project. This project is the latest in a number of healthcare-related projects Hirschi Masonry has completed. It is also another constructed in a high-profile location, within sight of US-95 south of Cheyenne.
Hirschi Masonry, the premier masonry contractor in Las Vegas, installed stone veneer on the columns and other areas of the medical building. The stone selection on this project was Bucks County Cultured Stone Limestone from Boral Stone. The project provided an opportunity for Hirschi to demonstrate its unparalleled skill at stone veneer.
There were a couple of interesting elements beyond the normal stone installation on this project, both involving the chimney/fireplace. The AHC of Summerlin building involved installing stone on exterior of the chimney above the roof line of the second story.
This building is another example that stone veneer is not just for the outside anymore. In addition to the stone veneer on the chimney above the roof line, we installed stone on the fireplace inside the building. This application gives a very impressive look to the fireplace and enhances the atmosphere of the facility’s interior.
The Advanced Health Care of Summerlin facility is designed to be an alternative to a nursing home, providing short term care in the interim between the time a patient leaves the hospital and before returning home.
