Christmas season is a time for giving.
One tenet of Hirschi Masonry’s Expect More philosophy is a commitment to the community. While we honor the commitment year-round, it is especially important to emphasize during the Christmas season.
Hirschi Masonry encourages all of our team members and residents of the community to help do what you can to support causes and organizations that help make our community a better place.
There are many good causes out there and we are involved in several that could use your help. Just a few of the organizations we support include HomeAid Southern Nevada, Project 150 and Vogel Alcove.
In addition to our other involvement with HomeAid Southern Nevada, we’re assisting with the expansion of the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth drop-in center, donating labor and materials to the project. Our participation is part of a donation of more than $175,000 by construction contractors to this project through HomeAid Southern Nevada.
Hirschi Masonry and our team members also support Project 150 and its mission to provide homeless high school students in the Las Vegas valley with the goods, supplies and support they need to complete their educations and build better lives. Among the great projects we were honored to participate in with Project 150 was a job fair for high school students.
Vogel Alcove Childcare Center for the Homeless provides free quality child development services for homeless children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. We are proud to support the great work this organization does in helping the most vulnerable among us.
All of these organizations are extremely worthy of your assistance and can certainly use any of the time, talent and treasure you can afford to provide to them.
In addition to working with these and other great organizations, Hirschi Masonry and our team members participate in a variety of projects and assist a number of causes. Among others this year we helped a community honor and remember a young life cut short and assisted Douglas McArthur in completing his Eagle Scout project.
When you’re making your Christmas list this year, we encourage you to include giving something to some of the organizations we support and other causes that are working to make our community a better place.
