Expect More is a philosophy that guides all that we do. And it doesn’t just apply to how we treat our customers. It is also our commitment to the community.

Hirschi Masonry is dedicated to improving the communities in which our team members live and work. We accomplish this by assisting worthy organizations and projects, both as a company and as individual team members, that help make a positive difference.

On November 29, 2018, the Hirschi Masonry team made KLUC Toy Drive history. In an unprecedented contribution, Hirschi donated more the $30,000 worth of toys and 71 bikes on the first day of the Toy Drive. Within ten minutes, HELP of Southern Nevada declared the first truck completely filled with 10.5 pallets of toys. This is the first time in the twenty-year history of the Drive that an entire semi-truck was filled within the first day.

More than 40 of Hirschi Masonry’s partners contributed to the donation, we are grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you – Cooper Roofing, World Wide Safety, Raptor Digital Marketing, Fisher Phillips Law Firm, American Eagle, Cal Portland, Cind R Lite, Cemex, Sunroc, Metal Partners, Desert Lumber, Arizona Stone, Northwestern Mutual, Century Communities, Motivational Systems, J & F Diamond, Computer Ease, Verizon, Hirschi Masonry, Penny Electric, Alpha Landscapes, Power House Plastering, Diamond H Ranch, Assurance Ltd., Distinctive Insurance, Hutchison Steffan Law Firm, Love Local Real Estate, Camco, Cashman Equipment, H&E Equipment, Ahern, Sunstate, Werdco, Southwest Bikes, Bobcat of Las Vegas, Coastline, Fasteners, Friendly Ford, New West Oil, Tifco, Aetna Health Insurance and Smart Cleaning Solutions!

Special thanks to Southwest Bikes for donating their time to assemble numerous bikes for the donation. The Hirschi team came together to make this donation possible. Through donations, requests and loading of the truck, thousands of youth in southern Nevada will be able to experience the magic of Christmas this December.

In August 2018, team Hirschi was on FOX5 to present a donation of school supplies on behalf of the entire Hirschi family for the Take 5 to Care Supply Our Students Donation Drive. While we were there, we also presented a check for $1,000 to the Salvation Army to assist them in continuing their efforts to provide programs and assistance to the community. At Hirschi, we understand the value of education, so when we saw what FOX5 was doing to help our students in the valley, we knew we wanted to be involved. It is incredible seeing the amount of school supplies collected and donations made to help our students, we are so happy to be a part of this year’s drive!

In February, we were given a tour of the newly renovated Blind Center of Nevada by board chairman, Jeff Davis. More than 10,000 citizens of the southern Nevada community are blind. This center provides much needed services and aid to those individuals. To aid in the construction of the new center, Hirschi contributed more than 250 pro-bono hours and helped to get all of the materials for the construction of the landscape walls and columns that surround the center donated. This was an incredible project that we were honored to be a part of!

Hirschi Masonry has also worked with Project 150, which provides food, clothing, school supplies and other necessities for homeless high school students.  The organization’s motto is “High School is tough enough”, and it serves 34 high schools around the Las Vegas valley. These are just a sample of the wonderful groups in our community that we assist in making a positive difference.

Project 150

In addition, Hirschi Masonry and our team members also helped a young man complete a milestone in his life and made sure another young person would never be forgotten.

HomeAid Southern Nevada builds new lives for Southern Nevada’s homeless through housing and community outreach. The organization has renovated more than 95,000 square feet and served more than 1,500 homeless children and adults.

One project by HomeAid Southern Nevada, in which we were proud to participate, involved the expansion of the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth Drop-In Center. NPHY is striving to eliminate homelessness among Nevada’s youth.

Hirschi Masonry installed the stone veneer at the front of the NPHY Drop-In Center expansion, part of the more than $350,000 construction contractors and subcontractors contributed in in-kind donations to this project through HomeAid SNV.

NPHY Award

Another local organization that Hirschi Masonry proudly supports is Vogel Alcove, which provides free quality child development services for homeless children 6 weeks to 5 years old. The organization does great work helping the most vulnerable among us, which we support wholeheartedly.
