Family, friends and members of the community gathered together to honor Alyssa Otremba. Alyssa was an Arbor View High School student whose life was cut far too short nearly three years ago.

Dozens of people attended the ceremony to dedicate a memorial to Alyssa. The rock, tree and bench on the memorial site stand as a testament to her life and a promise she will never be forgotten.

A makeshift memorial had been erected on the site just after Alyssa’s death as family, friends and others touched by her story left pictures, keepsakes and mementos in her honor.

Hirschi Masonry joined homebuilder DR Horton and other subcontractors to provide the permanent memorial to ensure that Alyssa will always be remembered.
