Hungry? We may have just the solution, or several of them, to allow you to Expect More from your next meal!

A new retail complex, composed largely of restaurant tenants, recently received its finishing touches, with the backbone of each of the buildings provided by the incredible work of the Hirschi Masonry team!

This new center consists of 5 separate buildings on 4 acres. Tenants are still filling the new units, but food-related ventures comprise the bulk of the initial businesses, including such outlets as Café Zupas, Farmer Boys, PizzaRev, The Vitamin Shoppe and Yogurtland.

While many of the businesses in this center are restaurants, there are a number of other spaces that could accommodate other types of retail outlets as well.

Construction began last summer and our work continued through the winter as construction proceeded on each of the five buildings in sequence. Some of the businesses in the earliest structures opened before the last couple buildings were even complete.

The Hirschi Masonry team once again was able to display many of its amazing talents on this project, including its versatility and ability to overcome challenges. The structural walls our team installed not only provide strength for the buildings but the masonry work also contributes to their modern look and design.

The walls on this project contain a variety of types and styles of block to provide the distinct exterior look of the buildings. Split face block in several areas provides texture and depth to the walls, for one.

Much of the masonry work on the buildings consists of single-flute block, CMU manufactured with a vertical line scored in the middle of the rectangular block to line up with the grout lines above and below. This gives the appearance of the wall being composed of 8”x8” square blocks rather than 8”x16” rectangular CMU.

In addition, many sections of the walls are stand-alone, not connecting to other sections. Extensive bracing was required on this project until other structural elements were installed.

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our team, you can Expect More from your next meal!
